Jay M. DeVaughn is an anointed vocalist, songwriter, and musician and also a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

He is a proud graduate of Shaw University with a bachelors degree in vocal performance, as well as of Morgan State University with a Masters in the same discipline. Through God‘s help, he single-handedly produced five albums, three songbooks, and wrote the music for San Antonio-based live project with JABEZ, Risen Victorious, incomparably produced by Austin Based musical genius, Rayshod Caldwell.

Currently, he is a Minister of Music at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, the VoiceMaster for his entrepreneurial project, DeVaughn Vocal Conservatory, Music scorer for his 17 year old business, Jayaughn Music.
