About the event

Join the Tony Aye Artistry Family and Community for a very special Artist Shed dedicated to one of our members Dwayne Dixon aka D-Mel who passed away in March. Join by D-Mel's colleagues, family, friends, and various other loved ones and supporters we will pay tribute to his life, music, and legacy in the best way we know how through music. The show will feature musical tributes from Artists who personally worked with him, shared moments, and more. This shed is free and open to all who would like to come and honor our brother's legacy.

The Artist Shed is a special open mic designed to allow Independent Artists a S.A.F.E.(Supported, Affirmed, Fueled, Empowered) space to share their stories, their art, and build their career. The event includes regular performances, featured performances where local artist can be tipped for their hard work, and open artist hour where emerging and aspiring Artists can grow and development their craft while being inspired by veterans. All funds raised at The Artist Shed help to support the development, services and resources provided to Artists by Tony Aye Artistry Foundation Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
